The 2010 Dodge Durango comes in SE, SLT and Limited trim levels and it can be equipped with one of three motors: a 210 hp V6, a 303 hp V8 and a Hemi 376 hp V8. These are offered with either rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive with low-range gearing. . All Durangos feature an automatic gearbox as standard: four-speeds for the V6, five for the V8s. . Yet, given the trucks weight (over 4,500 pounds), you can't assume it to handle like a sports sedan. And the braking can be considered to be the best in its class.
Durango received five out of five stars from the federal government (NHTSA) for both front passenger and driver protection in frontal crashes. The Durango's occupant protection in side crashes was not tested yet. . It comes equipped with ventilated front disc / solid rear disc brakes and rear ABS as a standard features.
