The Aston Martin DB9 is a grand tourer sports coupe build by the luxury brand Aston Martin since 2004 at the Gaydon facility in Warwickshire, England. The name DB stands for the name of the owner of Aston Martin, David Brown. The design of the DB9 was started by Ian Callum and finished by Henrik Fisker, who replaced the first designer in the Aston Martin team.

I think there is not necessary to explain that the Aston Martin is one of the most elegant and beautiful sports cars ever made, we all know that, though I can tell that it has a graceful style, with harmonious proportions. The design is quite simple, not meant to attract attention, but in the meantime very clean and distinctive. You can have the Aston Martin DB9 as a two door coupe or as a convertible named Volante, with aluminum body structure. Standard features on the Aston Martin BD9 include 19 inch alloy wheels with a ten spoke design, covered with Bridgestone Potenza, rear parking sensors and HID headlights.

The Aston Martin DB9 is featuring a 5.9 liter V12 front mounted engine that produces a maximum power of 470 hp at 6000 rpm and a maximum torque of 443 lb-ft at 5000 rpm fitted to a six speed manual or six speed automatic transmissions “Touchtronic 2”. With either manual or automatic transmission the car is capable to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in an impressive 4.6 seconds reaching a maximum speed of 190 mph. The EPA estimated the Aston Martin DB9 to decent fuel consumption for an exotic car so it achieves 11 mpg in the city while on the highway 17 mpg.

When you step in the interior of the Aston Martin BD9 it’s like moving to another world, everything looks perfect, the surfaces are covered in high quality leather, with alloy accents, sapphire crystal for an elegant impression. It is said to sit four people, but the rear seats are so small, that only two children could sit comfortable. The interior is featuring standard equipment such as walnut trim, full leather upholstery, heated front seats, automatic climate control, navigation system with hard disk drive, Bluetooth and a premium sound system with six-CD changer that offers 700-Watt power, electrically adjustable seats, with 3 different memorable setups.

Being an exotic car, the government and insurance industry did not take the Aston Martin DB9 as a crash test subject as they don’t for most limited production cars, but it’s not so important since the car is fully loaded with safety equipments that will assure a good safety for the driver and passengers, of course, not while riding with 190 mph. The safety features available as standard include anti lock brakes, tire pressure monitoring, stability control with traction control system, electronic brake force distribution, rear parking sensors.

The Aston Martin DB9 doesn’t need recommendations from my behalf, and others behalf, it has created an image that will stand in time for long, even if it is not the most powerful in the class, Ferrari and Lamborghini being better when it comes to power. Of course, not only “wanting” but also “having” money is one of the things that lack in the pockets of a lover of Aston Martin brand.
