The Chrysler Town and Country is a minivan introduced by Chrysler in 1989 as a 1990 model. The car evolved trough five generation, short-wheelbase and long-wheelbase version. The 2010 Town and Country is marketed in a long-wheelbase version only.

Experts say that the last generation of the Chrysler Town and Country will become the most successful one. For the 2010 Chrysler Town & Country there are very small changes changes, the most visible one are the strakes added to the hood, plus minor equipment and trim shuffles. You can choose from a wide range of engines and three different trims, LX, Touring and Limited.

The Chrysler T&C 4.0L V6 is a masterpiece. This engine gives you 251 hp and 259 lb-ft of torque. The car can reach 0-60 in just 8.8 sec thanks to the six-speed automatic transmission which turns this beautiful family car into a fast and powerful race car. Fuel economy is very good for this engine, 16/23 mpg city/highway and 18mpg combined.

The exterior of the car is well designed. The car was designed to be functional not head turning. The 2010 T&C still looks like an All-American minivan with well defined angular lines that are inspired from the 90's minivans. The car also has 17" chrome-clad alloy wheels, automatic doors, xenon headlights, parking assist, a nine speaker stereo and rear climate control.

The interior design is simple and plain. The chrome accents, wood trims and the analog clock are very pleasant for the eye and hands. The materials used are of bad quality and the build quality is worse than its competitors. A key feature is the second-row seating choices. You can chose the standard Stow 'n Go which features a pair of captain chairs that disappear completely into the floor, or you can choose the Swivel 'n Go feature that allows you to rotate the chair at a 180 degree angle so you can face the third row seats. Also a table can be fitted between the 2nd and 3rd row for a nice meal while on the road. The front seats are very comfortable and big but the backseats are not designed for adult passengers.

The 2010 Town & Country has antilock disc brakes, full-length side curtain airbags and traction and stability control as standards. Optional on all trims are second-row integrated child booster seats (requires Swivel 'n Go). The car also benefits from the multistage front and side airbags and the Electronic Stability Program which helps you control the car even in extreme situations. The Security Group, which adds rear parking sensors are optional for the Touring version and standard for the Limited version, a blind spot monitoring system and Rear Cross Path are also optional both for the Touring and the Limited versions.

The car scored five stars in all frontal- and side-impact categories while in government testing. In Insurance Institute for Highway Safety testing, the car received the highest score "good" both in frontal impact and side impact.
The T&C is easy to drive and park and the steering is better than good. While driving at high speeds the interior remains quiet. The car's suspension is very good although body lean in corners is noticeable. The brakes deliver a decent stop for a minivan and even when you make an emergency stop you still feel like you're in control.
