The GMC Sierra 1500 Hybrid is a full-size pickup truck produced by General Motors and was released in 2005 as the first hybrid passenger car produced by GMC since ever. The engine is fitted to a four speed automatic transmission. The 1500 Hybrid model is capable to sprint from 0 to sixty mph in 9.2 seconds, tow up to 6,100 pounds. The car is available in all wheel drive and two wheel drive configurations. Without any loads the Sierra 1500 hybrid is capable to go 30 miles with the electric engines only.
