BMW 5 Series
The ‘BMW 5 series’ is middle sized executive car produced by the house of BMW ever since 1972. The car, which is presently in its 5th cohort, is put in the market in the touring and sedan body styles.
Till date, a large number of models of the BMW 5 series have been launched but the most recent are the E60 model of BMW. The styling of the car has been designed by Chris Bangle and it has loads of advanced features.
The E60 corresponds to a noteworthy step ahead in technology above the previous models. It has an absolute electronic control on all the features of the car from the brightness of internal lights and the suspension to different zones of temperature inside the cabin.
The car is also outfitted with a wide range of features of safety, from the adaptive headlights to the hill start aid, and also has a program of Trailer stability to assist at the time of dragging a large caravan or trailer. Other main selections include active speed control as well as active steering. These features are offered in both the wagon as well as the sedan versions. The BMW 5 series also provides an option of 4 wheel drive.
The safety features of the vehicle also include footrest, steering column, door latch, door trims, electronic software for stability control, 4 wheels anti lock disk brakes and airbags.
Thus the all new BMW 5 series has a strong performance status due to its sporty suspension and responsive steering. Its handling and ride combination is one of the best in the world.
